Concert of Thanksgiving

Dear Friends,

This year, we will be doing a VIRTUAL EVENT on November 24th, the Sunday before Thanksgiving. We’ll send out the link at 1:00 PM. We are still putting the line-up together but it will for sure include our beloved Stefan Kukurugya. What I love about doing this online is that it lets us expand the concert beyond the capacity of any one location, which means you will be getting this email along with around 1200+ other people!

For those of you who are new to the Concert of Thanksgiving, the intent has always been to bring
people together to share music and support the work of the Noah at Central in Detroit. In that light, there will be a link in the email in case you are able to make a donation. But if you can’t afford to make a donation, please enjoy this year's virtual concert anyways. These are challenging times. It’s most important that we take care of ourselves in whatever ways we need to and care for each other in whatever ways we can.

One last thought. As you click on the link, remember that you’ll be listening along with people of all varieties of faiths, political opinions and points of view. Given how polarized many of us feel these days, the fact that we can - at least for a few minutes - put that aside and all come together in support of a population in need and a program that is trying to help them is something for which I am deeply grateful.
